Located near the fabulous towns of Hastings, Royal Tunbridge Wells and Battle and with four lovely bedrooms, The George is an ideal base from which to explore the diverse counties of Kent and Sussex.  We are surrounded by various National Trust properties, beautiful gardens including Great Dixter, Sissinghurst and Sarah Raven's cutting garden, quaint villages and not forgetting our wonderful 1066 historic coastline.   After the time we have all experienced, why not treat yourself to an escape away from it all and let us look after you?  

We have our own car park in front of The George and additional free parking is available in the High Street. The train station is a short 10-minute walk away, providing direct access to London Charing Cross as well as Royal Tunbridge Wells, historic Battle and the coastal towns of Rye and Hastings.   We also welcome cyclists, and we have a bike rack at the front of the building as well as secure storage for bikes if you are staying overnight. 

Our four-legged friends on leads are also very welcome throughout The George and there is always a clean bowl of water available.
