Stayed in a fantastic room and warmly welcomed…….. - I
We spent 5 days at The George Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.We were in room Pooke which was very comfortable and quiet, even on the occasions when it was busy downstairs.All of the staff are very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.The food at breakfast and dinner was excellent.The battered fish and chips is the best ever!There is also a very good Indian restaurent 10 minutes walk up the road and the train station is also a 10 minute walk with regular services to Hastings and London.We hope to stay again. - Yvonne and A
Check in and check out process handled swiftly and with effiency. Polite and interesting serving staff. Did not eat breakfast or dinner. Room was great. Unfortunately loud noise of bottle bank below my room emptied at 06.40 woke me- Medley
